PwC is seeking a dynamic and experienced Cloud Platform Operations Leader to oversee our cloud platform operations teams, including Container, Provisioning, DevOps, DevSecOps, and Site Reliability Engineering (SRE). This role will be instrumental in driving our cloud strategy, optimizing cloud operations, and ensuring the highest standards of security, performance, and efficiency in our cloud platforms. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background, leadership skills, and a passion for innovation in cloud computing and infrastructure automation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage cross-functional teams focused on containerization, provisioning, DevOps practices, DevSecOps implementation, and site reliability engineering.
  • Establish and enhance cloud architecture best practices, ensuring scalability, security, and reliability of cloud applications and services.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define cloud strategies and roadmaps that align with business objectives.
  • Lead and manage team that implements cloud infrastructure provisioning solutions (IaaS, PaaS) utilizing automation and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) techniques.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement, promoting the adoption of Agile methodologies and DevSecOps principles across teams.
  • Monitor and optimize cloud performance, costs, and resource utilization to drive operational excellence.
  • Enforce security standards and practices that integrate seamlessly within DevOps and delivery pipelines.
  • Mentor and develop team members, fostering an inclusive environment that encourages innovation and professional growth.
  • Stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies to identify opportunities for implementing best practices and solutions.

Qualifications:
Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; advanced degrees or certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Certified Kubernetes Administrator) are a plus.

Experience:

  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in cloud engineering or operations, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
  • Proven experience in container orchestration technologies (e.g., Kubernetes, Docker).
  • Extensive experience with DevOps, DevSecOps methodologies, and SRE practices.
  • Strong background in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and Infrastructure as Code tools (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation).
