Our partner is a well-established technology & operations center in Bucharest, part of one of the world's leading financial groups.

This position is part of the HR Operations team, which is in charge of performing HR admin & payroll activities for the company's local entity (approx. 2000 employees).

This is a 1 year maternity cover role, with a strong chance of extension based on individual performance and motivation.

This is the type of role that requires a high level of attention to detail, resilience, as well as superior self organization and focus.

Your key responsibilities will be to:

  • Focus primarily on
    new starter activities under the Romanian legislation
    (from Offer to Day1) - gather employment documentation, schedule candidates for medical check-ups, draft employment contracts and have them signed by the candidates, run background checks and onboarding activities.

  • Maintain and update employee records in
    Workday
    , ensuring data accuracy and confidentiality.

  • Provide
    first-line support to candidates and managers
    related to new starter and onboarding activities.

  • Collaborate with internal HR teams
    (Payroll, Time & Attendance, Talent Acquisition, Benefits) to resolve various situations and cover the new starter flows.

  • Prepare and review standard
    HR documentation
    .

  • Ensure timely processing of requests in line with agreed
    Service Level Agreements (SLAs)
    .

  • Contribute to
    process improvement initiatives
    and participate in internal HR projects.

  • Build and maintain strong
    working relationships with internal stakeholders
    (hiring managers, recruitment teams, HRBPs, etc).

To thrive in this role, you'll have:

  • 6-10 months of experience
    ideally in an HR admin role or in a support role in HR.

  • An
    HR inspector
    certification (preferably, not mandatory).

  • Excellent
    communication
    skills;

  • Attention to details;

  • Very good command of English (B2/C1).
