We are recruiting on behalf of our client, a leading full-service advisory firm with over 16 years of experience in the Romanian market. Their mission is to be the trusted counsel for middle-market international clients, private equity funds, investment firms, entrepreneurs, and family offices. With strong expertise in the middle market, the firm advises clients throughout all stages of development: from start-up, rapid growth, and expansion, to transition.

Responsibilities

  • Support the 
    internal audit function
     by preparing, maintaining, and updating audit documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with 
    ISO standards
     and internal company procedures.
  • Draft, implement, and update 
    policies and procedures
     in line with regulatory and operational requirements.
  • Act as a 
    document controller
    , maintaining organized and accurate documentation systems.
  • Monitor the implementation of approved procedures across departments.
  • Assist in conducting 
    internal audits
     and reporting findings to management.
  • Collaborate with departments to ensure corrective actions are implemented effectively.
  • Prepare reports, summaries, and presentations with high accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of compliance and quality management systems.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of experience
     in internal audit, document control, compliance, or a similar role (experience in transport/logistics or professional services is an advantage).
  • Strong understanding of 
    ISO standards
     and compliance frameworks.
  • Excellent 
    written communication skills
    ; ability to draft, edit, and structure procedures and reports clearly.
  • Strong 
    organizational skills
     and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in 
    Microsoft Word
     (advanced level); good knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint is a plus.
  • Ability to work with and implement 
    procedures
     across different business functions.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • A proactive, structured, and process-oriented mindset.
  • Fluency in 
    Romanian
     and good command of 
    English
     (spoken and written).
