Role Overview:
We are seeking a talented and experienced Frontend Developer with strong Angular skills and AI experience to join our AI Innovation team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating intuitive and responsive user interfaces for cutting-edge AI-powered applications and experimental proof-of-concepts. You will collaborate with AI business analysts, product managers, and backend developers. You will design and implement UI components and journeys that bring our AI innovations to life for our clients in the financial services industry.

As part of a fast-paced and innovative environment, you will play a crucial role in prototyping and developing our next-generation AI solutions, including conversational interfaces, real-time data visualizations, and agentic AI orchestration tools.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain responsive and user-friendly web applications using Angular.
• Collaborate with UX/UI designers, product managers, and back-end developers to deliver high-quality front-end solutions that meet business and client requirements.
• Implement reusable and modular UI components that align with best practices and design standards.
• Develop interfaces for human-in-the-loop AI systems, enabling seamless interaction between users and AI agents.
• Participate in the full software development lifecycle for experimental and prototype applications, including planning, coding, testing, debugging, and deployment.
• Work closely with backend Python developers to ensure seamless integration between AI services and front-end interfaces.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends in both frontend technologies and AI/ML user experience patterns to continuously enhance our innovative solutions.
• Conduct code reviews, ensuring adherence to coding standards and maintaining a high level of code quality.
• Troubleshoot and resolve UI-related issues, improving overall product reliability and user satisfaction.
• Contribute to the strategic planning of AI Innovation initiatives, identifying opportunities for frontend innovation and improved user experiences.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience as a Frontend/UI developer, with a strong focus on Angular development.
• Experience building user interfaces for AI/ML applications, or demonstrable interest through personal projects, contributions, or self-directed learning in AI interface design.
• Proficient in Angular (latest versions), TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.
• Experience with responsive design and mobile-first development practices.
• Strong understanding of UI/UX principles, with the ability to create visually appealing and user-friendly interfaces.
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs and how to integrate them into front-end applications.
• Experience with version control systems such as Git.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail, with a commitment to delivering high-quality software in an experimental environment.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in an Agile environment.
• Familiarity with UX design tools like Figma or UXPin.
• Experience with Agile methodologies and tools such as JIRA and Confluence.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in the financial services industry, particularly with investment or fintech products.
• Familiarity with streaming implementations for real-time, human-in-the-loop AI use cases.
• Experience with data visualization libraries and frameworks for AI/ML dashboards and analytics.
• Knowledge of conversational UI patterns and chatbot interface design.
• Familiarity with front-end build tools and task runners, such as Webpack, npm, or Angular CLI.
• Knowledge of testing frameworks like Jasmine, Karma, or Protractor.
