The future of cybersecurity starts with you.About the Role: Our mission is to make all of our customers' security-relevant data continuously available for automated detection and response, threat hunting, and other Falcon use cases. To enable this, the systems behind NG-SIEM (next generation security information and event management)  are growing to accommodate >100 PB of event and action data ingested every day, up to 10 years of retention, and dozens of millions of queries per hour across large sections of the data stored. CrowdStrike is seeking an Manager, Engineering for the NG-SIEM product group working on the LogScale Platform. This is a critical role in the organization, responsible for driving the operations team as they build towards a zero-touch, highly refined, automated and self-service model in this space.You will be instrumental in the hiring, retaining and growth of our world class engineers. You will work cross functionally with your peers in the engineering organization as well as leaders in sales and product.NOTE: This role is open to candidates in Romania only. What You'll Do:Champion operational excellence for our NG-SIEM cell platform systems.Lead secure, high-quality engineering practices while guiding teams to architect solutions that optimize availability, scalability, and cost-effectiveness.Demonstrate customer-centric leadership and product focusCreate meaningful solutions that directly benefit our users and advance our mission.Advance our serverless platform vision by thoughtfully balancing distributed system engineering, end-to-end resilience, and resource optimization.Make strategic decisions that drive innovation.Play a pivotal role in attracting, developing, and retaining exceptional engineering talent.Foster an inclusive environment where team members thrive through mentorship, growth opportunities, and collaborative leadership.Work seamlessly with diverse teams across product engineering, platform engineering, sales, customer success, and supportEnsure platform success through cross-functional partnership and influence.Utilize strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with international teams supporting our 24/7 global operations.Participate in periodic travel to strengthen relationships and align with teams worldwide.What You'll Need:5+ years of experience architecting, designing, and developing distributed system platform software products, preferably in a hyper-scale cloud environment, across all phases of the development lifecycle;3+ years of experience managing teams of 6+ individual contributors reporting to you and delivering multiple major milestones of products.
