Embedded Software Engineer

Position objectives:
We are looking to hire a professional and skilled Embedded Software Engineer to join our software team
The ideal candidate has a very strong background in low-level and system development for embedded devices and has worked on firmware. We are looking for a talented engineer to design, develop and deploy high quality software components for our automotive OEM components and not only. Very interesting projects, e.g. :
Radar ANPR system uses a combination of radar technology and Automatic Number Plate Recognition (ANPR) to detect vehicles, capture their license plates, and identify them for various applications like traffic speed enforcement and flow analysis.
Essential functions:
- Proven extensive experience coding in C and C++
- Working environment: Windows/Linux
Qualifications:
· University degree in automation, computer science, electrical engineering or equivalent
· 5+ years of professional experience as an Embedded Software Developer with relevant experience in low-level core software development
· GIT/Jira knowledge
Required skills:
· Very good skills in C Embedded programming from low-level layer to application level;
· Good knowledge of real-time operating system;
· Distributed source control systems (Git);
· Hands-on troubleshooting capabilities with various tools;
· Rigour, method;
· Autonomy, sense of initiative;
· Team-oriented mentality, "we can do it" attitude;
· Good knowledge of English.
Great to have:
· Knowledge of RESTfull APIs and MQTT protocol is a plus.
· Docker or other container solution is a plus.
