We are looking for a Financial Analyst & Profitability Controller to join our client's finance team — a growing, dynamic organization within the gambling industry. The ideal candidate will combine strong analytical skills with a strategic mindset, ensuring accurate financial reporting, effective cost control, and support for key business decisions.︄︆︅︉︉︌︃︄ ︂︆︄︄ ︁︁︌ ︈︂︇︍ ︈︆︅︊︄︈︌︊︂
About the Role:
In this position, you will oversee financial operations and profitability performance, ensuring compliance with regulations and internal policies. You will play a key role in budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, and strategic planning, directly supporting senior management in achieving business goals.
What We're Looking For:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA/CMA is a plus);
- At least 5 years of experience in a finance or controlling role;
- Strong understanding of financial reporting, analysis, and forecasting;
- Proficiency with accounting and ERP systems (SAP experience is an advantage);
- Excellent Excel and data visualization skills (Power BI, Tableau);
- Analytical, detail-oriented, and able to translate data into strategic insights;
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills;
- Fluency in English, both written and spoken;
- CAFR membership is a plus.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and deliver accurate financial statements and reports (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow);
- Coordinate and support the annual audit process, ensuring full regulatory compliance;
- Develop annual budgets and financial forecasts; monitor actual performance vs. targets;
- Conduct variance analysis and provide actionable insights for business decisions;
- Implement and maintain strong internal controls to safeguard company assets;
- Ensure adherence to financial regulations, accounting standards, and internal procedures;
- Lead financial analysis to identify trends, risks, and improvement opportunities;
- Prepare comprehensive reports and presentations for senior leadership.
