Porsche Engineering Romania is currently looking for a Software Engineer interested about AI to join the team. In this role, you will be responsible for researching and implementing solutions for complex problems involving programming, Machine Learning and Large Language Models approaches. You will work on projects that span technologies, systems, and processes where you will design, test and ship high quality code. In this role, you will collaborate with team members and clients to build complex products that enable Porsche to deliver high quality and innovative customer experiences. As a team member, you will have to combine software engineering skills with research and innovation skills. We offer the possibility to be responsible for your own topics and drive them to completion together with local and remote colleagues.

• You will write high quality code to build products and platforms revolving around AI technologies (Machine Learning models, including Large Language Models)
• You will design and deliver technical solutions to business and product problems
• You will take ownership of initiatives and drive them through to completion
• You will work in an Agile environment
• You will collaborate with international project teams

Qualifications QualificationsQualifications

• You have successfully completed a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Information Technology or an equivalent field of study
• You have experience in Python programming and good knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming, as well as SQL or NoSQL databases
• You have basic knowledge of Python data science specific libraries, Neural Networks and ML frameworks (PyTorch or TensorFlow)
• You are familiar with modern development tools, MLOps and cloud (Azure/AWS)
• Your knowledge of data processing and data storing technologies (Databricks, Apache Kafka, Apache Spark etc.) is an advantage
• Your good understanding of LLMs is a plus
• You have experience in working in distributed, international teams
• You speak English fluently and German language is considered a plus
• You are flexible and willing to travel abroad/domestic, whenever it is required
