Core Responsibilities

  • Responsibility for driving the strategic agenda behind building LEGO Brand love in ROBGIS BU
  • Manage planning and execution of Masterbrand campaigns line with global and ROBGIS BU strategy, keeping a holistic view on the brand health KPIs in our markets
  • Lead the In-Season (Holidays) & Other toy shopping Occasion Campaign Planning & drive activation across Marketing & Commercial Planning – bringing together the full LEGO internal & external ecosystem partners
  • Drive audience and franchise overarching activities, experiences and storytelling, which fall under Masterbrand & Occasions campaigns
  • Safeguard & support broad view and thinking around deploying impactful Shopper Campaigns that support and complement Consumer Campaigns
  • Be a central contact and driver for Umbrella Brand Partnerships and support the team to navigate partnership related questions
  • Be the voice of Brand Guidelines & fundamentals – playing the role of coach/sparring partner as needed
  • Capture existing opportunities for the Brand, ensure that the critical metrics are met, and initiate corrective actions as needed

The role of the Brand Manager is to assure that we have the winning and aligned Brand strategies and plans to further build the brand and LEGO love among consumers and shoppers in ROBGIS BU. You will be playing a key role in securing that we continue to recruit new kids in the LEGO world during key toy shopping occasions and through our Masterbrand campaigns.

Do you have what it takes?

  • Brand marketing experience of driving innovative and coordinated marketing campaigns and key go to market plans (preferably from FMCG industry)
  • Experience in building international brands on local market is considered an advantage
  • Active work experience, applying campaigns in a retail environment, both physical and digital, delivering highly impactful campaigns and successful activations to consumers and shoppers
  • Strong background of turning consumer, shopper, and market data & insights into action
  • Understanding of all major media marketing and retail channels with a strong view on digital & eCommerce marketing, strong perspective on the latest industry trends and experience in Marketing analytics and performance measurement
  • Strong ability to drive strategic direction, important innovation & agile solutions in the context of a global-regional-local set up, being able to co-shape campaign development & gap filling towards local BU needs
  • Ability to develop, feedback and trans-create campaigns in both English and Romanian language
