Job Overview

We are seeking a Senior Ruby on Rails Fullstack Developer to take ownership of a mission-critical platform used across the organization.

The role focuses on modernizing the system, driving new feature development, ensuring stability, and embedding best practices for long-term maintainability. This is a senior position that requires strong technical expertise, autonomy and a structured, risk-aware approach.

Responsibilities

  • Modernize, develop, and maintain a core business platform.
  • Diagnose and fix bugs while ensuring high system stability and performance.
  • Implement improvements across backend and frontend components.
  • Integrate automated QA practices into daily development.
  • Strategically reduce technical debt and plan modernization initiatives.
  • Operate and support the platform in a reliable, production-grade environment.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience with Ruby on Rails.
  • 5+ years of experience in frontend development (npm, Angular, ).
  • 2+ years of Docker experience.
  • 4+ years of Linux/Bash (Ubuntu).
  • Knowledge of PHP/Laravel and is a plus.
  • Strong focus on automated testing and QA practices.
  • Experience with legacy system modernization is a plus.
  • Experience working in regulated industries is a plus.
  • Senior-level independence, structured mindset and risk-aware approach.
