We are seeking a skilled Senior C++ Developer (Qt) to join our team and contribute to the development of innovative features for a desktop computer-aided design application. You will work on building and enhancing 3D modeling and simulation tools, with a focus on performance, quality, and user experience.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement end-user features that enable users to build and design intricate digital models within a desktop CAD application.
  • Create and refine advanced 3D tooling to support the building and simulation of 3D scenes, offering a seamless user experience.
  • Focus on delivering high-quality features with a strong emphasis on performance optimization to ensure smooth and efficient operation.
  • Work closely with product managers, designers, and customer leads to design, develop and fine-tune the best-in-class solutions.
  • Plan and manage development tasks in close coordination with product management, ensuring alignment with the overall product roadmap and business goals.

Mandatory Skills:

  • Master's degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • Expert-level proficiency in C++20, with experience in writing clean, maintainable, and efficient code.
  • Strong understanding of 3D mathematics and principles related to 3D scene creation and simulation.
  • Demonstrated ability to optimize performance and debug complex issues in large-scale applications.
  • Familiarity with the Qt framework for building UIs is beneficial, but not a primary focus.
  • Experience with defining and managing serializable data formats for application data handling.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a collaborative mindset for working within a multidisciplinary team.

Optional / Nice-to-Have Skills:

  • Experience with CAD (computer-aided design) software principles and workflows.
  • Knowledge of game editors, particularly Unity, and understanding of concepts such as scenes and prefabs.
  • Experience with advanced 3D modeling tools or rendering techniques.
