In order to accompany the growth of Biocodex, we are looking for a
Chief Financial Officer
in Romania.

Join us and play a pivotal role in shaping the success of our young Romanian affiliate, opened in 2023.

As a key member of the Leadership Team and trusted partner to the General Manager, you will drive performance, structuring of our operations, and long-term value creation while contributing to the Group's global ambition.

YOUR MISSIONS

• Drive financial excellence
• Oversee all financial operations, ensuring accuracy, transparency, and compliance.
• Lead financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis.
• Provide strategic insights and recommendations to support business growth and profitability.
• Manage audit, tax, and banking relationships with a strong focus on integrity and efficiency.
• Lead transformation and enable performance
• Contribute to further strengthening of financial, supply chain, IT, and administrative processes to enhance efficiency, agility and scalability.
• Implement tools, systems, and best practices that drive operational efficiency and data-driven decision-making.
• Foster a performance-oriented culture within the team and across functions.
• Drive Supply Chain & Customer Service efficiency
• Ensure end-to-end supply chain reliability, from forecasting and inventory management to delivery performance.
• Guarantee service excellence and cost optimization, while fostering collaboration between local and regional teams.
• Anticipate business and market evolutions and build resilient supply solutions to support business continuity and growth.
• Oversee key operational functions
• General Administration & Facilities Oversee office management, procurement, and service contracts with a focus on cost-effectiveness and employee well-being.
• Legal & Corporate Governance Ensure full compliance with local laws and Group policies, acting as a guardian of integrity and ethical conduct within the organization.
• IT & Digital Lead the evolution of the IT landscape and oversee infrastructure, systems upgrades, cybersecurity, and data protection, ensuring business continuity.

YOUR PROFILE
Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or business administration (Master's or certification such as ACCA/CPA is a plus)

6–10 years of experience in finance leadership, ideally in an international or matrix organization.

Proven experience in team management, transformation, and performance improvement.

Strategic mindset with a hands-on approach and a strong sense of ownership.

Excellent analytical and financial modeling skills; advanced Excel proficiency.

Excellent communication and influencing skills across all levels of the organization.

Excellent collaborative skills, relying on strong desire to win as a cross-functional team.

Fluent in Romanian and full proficiency in English both written and spoken.
