The team

EMSYS stands for Embedded Systems development. Complete. From concept, hardware design and PCB layout to software development, integration and testing, production support.

Our team is involved in product development for the Smart Infrastructure and Digital Industries businesses of Siemens. It covers activities in the fields of Energy Management and Building Products and has complete responsibility for new modules and products.

Hardware and software developers are working together in the same location and supporting each other in a highly effective way.

Key responsibilities:

Design and Development

  • Development of conceptual solutions for complex parts and assemblies;
  • Creation and implementation of new solution approaches;
  • Analysis of development requirements (R&D, Sales, Customers);
  • Evaluation of feasibility considering manufacturing and economic aspects;
  • Development of decision-ready solution concepts.

Calculations and Simulation

  • Execution and coordination of complex calculations;
  • Performance of comprehensive simulations;
  • Analysis and evaluation of calculation results;
  • Integration of results into new development solutions.

Technical Implementation and Documentation

  • Management of design implementation;
  • Monitoring of design progress;
  • Coordination of contributions and variants;
  • Scheduling of testing periods;
  • Organization of prototype production;
  • Presentation of development results.

Required qualifications:

  • Advanced CAD skills, particularly: Siemens Teamcenter, Siemens NX;
  • Extensive experience in simulation and calculation of mechanical components;
  • SAP knowledge;
  • Several years of experience in designing complex mechanical systems;
  • Proficient knowledge of technical standards and norms;
  • Understanding of manufacturing processes and economic efficiency;
  • Technical university degree.
