Overview

test automation, performance optimization, and continuous quality improvement

Responsibilities:
  • Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts using industry-standard testing frameworks.
  • Collaborate with developers, product managers, and designers to define test strategies and ensure comprehensive test coverage from the early stages of development.
  • Design and implement robust test automation frameworks that integrate seamlessly into the CI/CD pipeline.
  • Identify, document, and troubleshoot defects, working closely with development teams to resolve issues efficiently.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of testing processes, methodologies, and best practices to enhance automation coverage and reliability.
  • Maintain and optimize automated test suites, ensuring they align with software updates and business needs.
  • Monitor and analyze test results, providing detailed reports on software quality and identifying areas for improvement.
  • Mentor and guide junior QA engineers, helping them improve their automation skills and understanding of quality assurance best practices.
  • Stay up to date with the latest advancements in test automation, AI-driven testing, and software quality engineering, implementing innovative solutions where applicable.

Responsibilities

Essential:
  • 5 years of experience in software testing and quality assurance, with at least 2 years in automation testing
  • Proven ability to develop and maintain comprehensive test cases
  • Experience in creating and maintaining automated test scripts
  • Solid understanding of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes
  • Hands-on experience in front-end testing
  • Proficiency in automation testing using object-oriented programming languages such as C#, Java, or C
  • Experience in desktop software testing
  • Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and the software development lifecycle
  • Ability to execute manual tests to ensure software quality and identify defects
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, tools, and best practices in software quality assurance

Preferred:
  • Experience working with 3D software or CAD software
  • Experience in training and mentoring junior QA team members
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms and services (e.g., AWS, Azure)
  • Experience in SQL queries and database testing
  • Knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins)

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience
  • ISTQB certification (preferred but not mandatory)
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Experience with performance and security testing is a plus
