We're searching for an exceptional Product Manager, Delivery Execution Leader to take the reins defining and building the next generation of user experiences for complex financial workflows. In this role, you'll be leading the execution of our vision to deliver amazing, loved, and indispensable experiences to our users in the capital markets space. You'll join a small, high-caliber company composed of deeply experienced domain experts. You will have a clear focus, complete ownership over your product space, and the autonomy to drive immediate, lasting change. This is a chance to move beyond the constraints of a large organization and truly see the direct impact of your work.
About KORKOR is a young 50'ish person and growing company using leading edge cloud technology built by industry domain experts and world class in-house engineering. We're on a mission to innovate B2B trade servicing starting with regulatory reporting in time for a global wave of mandated changes hitting all segments of market participants across OTC derivatives transactions. We're solving the most challenging problems around by bringing fresh designs and solutions to data utility, quality, and processing inefficiencies. . . while unlocking insane value for clients.
Teamwork and laser focus are central to everything we do at KOR. With the right support, we believe small independent teams with deep expertises achieve better results and encourage skilled people to take responsibility and grow their careers. We live by the mantra of work humble, work smart, and work together.
Product Discovery and Strategy
Define and Validate: Collaborate with the KOR Product Team members to define product vision, strategy, and outcome-driven roadmaps. Focus on identifying and testing the riskiest assumptions about users, features, technology, and the business model.
User Empathy: Conduct and lead continuous user research (generative, evaluative, usability testing, and customer interviews) to develop deep user empathy and inform product decisions.
Business Alignment: Balance user needs, technical feasibility, and business goals to ensure the team consistently delivers lean features and ships high-impact features
Agile Execution and Delivery
Support Consistent Delivery and Velocity: Maintain the backlog primarily using tools like Jira, ensuring that stories are appropriately sized, estimated, scoped, and sequenced to facilitate a predictable, sustainable engineering velocity.
Hands-on Collaboration: Work daily, shoulder-to-shoulder (or in paired remote sessions) with developers, designers, and client Product Managers as a member of a balanced, remote development team located in the US and throughout Europe
Story Authoring: Write clear, concise, and well-articulated user stories, ensuring they meet the team's definition of ready for development.
Backlog Ownership and Prioritization: Own, groom, and relentlessly prioritize the product backlog to maximize value delivery and minimize risk, informed by data and validated learning. Own, prioritize, and relentlessly maintain the project backlog, primarily using tools like Pivotal Tracker, to drive continuous value delivery.
XP Practices: Actively lead and participate in all Extreme Programming practices, including daily standups, iteration planning, retrospectives, and demos, driving continuous flow.
Decision Making: Facilitate rapid, collaborative decision-making within the team and with stakeholders, providing the necessary clarity to unblock developers and keep the execution flowing.
We are seeking a driven professional who excels at product delivery and execution within a complex industry.
Execution Focus: You thrive in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment. You are a doer, someone who is not afraid to roll up their sleeves to ensure successful, on-time delivery while maintaining a high bar for quality and user experience.
Passion for Product: You live and breathe product development. You're excited by the challenge of translating complex operational needs into elegant, simple, and powerful software solutions.
Domain Context is a Plus: While deep experience in OTC Derivatives (product or operations) is a distinct advantage, we prioritize exceptional product management and execution skills. We highly value candidates with a strong background in any complex financial or enterprise software domain (e.g., fixed income, asset management, core banking, insurance).
Additionally, you tick the following boxes:
10+ years of experience in regulatory reporting, preferably within major banks or financial institutions.
Strong background in OTC derivatives post-trade reporting across multiple jurisdictions.
Demonstrated experience working in client-facing roles, with strong communication and relationship management skills.
Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Skilled in business analysis methodologies: requirements gathering, process mapping, and solution documentation.
Proven track record of delivering complex regulatory projects on time.
Work effectively in an Agile environment, contributing to iterative delivery and continuous improvement.
Operate with flexible working hours when needed to accommodate clients and regulatory obligations across global time zones.
