Systems Engineer

We are looking for a
Systems Engineer (Signaling & Railway)
, to join our team on a dynamic project in the Bucharest area (hybrid work model). In this role you will be responsible for the configuration of station specific data for electronic interlocking, train control system and Traffic Management System based in alignment with customer requirements.

Responsibilities

• Configuration of site/station specific data for electronic interlocking, train control system and Traffic Management System based on customer requirements.
• Participate in verification/peer reviews.
• Build the application software images for each system/sub-system.
• Produce release notes for each application software delivery.
• Produce and manage the baselines.
• Participate in Functional test of the application software in the lab.
• Analyze and correct data defects.
• Liaise with other departments internally and project groups in the Signalling Programme.
• Take part in the continuous improvement of the engineering process, and tools to reduce effort and improve quality.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience in a similar position.
• Knowledge of L90/L905.
• Good PC knowledge (MS Office, CAD-Program).
• Experience of railway operation and signaling.
• Strong understanding of configuration management.
• Pro-activity, sharing supports and knowledge in order to help and teach others.
• A good ability to be consequent, responsible, trusted and a team player in order to create and maintain a good working atmosphere.
• Good innovation skills to support our team to live and create efficient processes and professionalize work.
• Bachelor or Master Degree in Electronics, Engineering or Information Technology.
• Advanced English, both speaking and writing.

Nice to have

• Good knowledge about L905 and/or RBC, and/or TMS.
• German language skills are a strong advantage.
