What you'll do

  • Your main activities will deal with design, architecture, implementation, integration, optimization and validation of technical features on versatile and heterogeneous platforms.
  • You will have to apprehend the entire SoC components (DsP, CPUs, IPs, encoder…) to integrate new features.
  • Working directly with algorithms team, you will prototype new features on various platforms for internal proof of embeddability or for demonstrating the value of the proposal to the marketing team.
  • You will evolve within a cross functional team organization to bring-up innovations as a real camera product.
  • You are expected to be a technical animator.
  • Take ownership of the requirements from a technical perspective as well as responsibility for the quality of the technical implementation
  • Actively shape the agile software development process
  • Evaluate functional requirements from user stories and expand them to include necessary technical aspects
  • Ensure the completeness, feasibility and testability of user stories by subjecting them to critical appraisal in a backlog refinement and scrutinizing them
  • Lead the development team and support them with design tasks
  • Represent the development team in meetings with stakeholders
  • Ensure a high standard of quality by applying code reviews, pair programming, TDD and direct feedback loops while considering and improving best practices (e.g. code style guidelines, testing methodologies, security principles, provisions for high performance and resilience of the application)
  • Work and learn together with experienced software developers from other development teams

What you need to be successful

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
  • 7+ years of significant embedded software development and integration
  • Deep knowledge and understanding on embedded system (software and hardware architecture)
  • C++
  • GIT is your friend
  • Scripting languages (e.g Shell, Python)
  • Linux and GNU tools are your daily working environment
  • Cross development tools (compilation and debug)
  • Good interpersonal skills, team player
  • Technical English

  • Low-level C

  • SIMD like NEON for ARM
  • DSP programming
  • Technical Imaging knowledges
  • Familiar with agile principles
