Software Tester Engineer

Position overview

We are looking for a
Software Tester Engineer
, to join our team in a hybrid-work model in Bucharest. In this role you will be involved in a ground transportation project, in an Agile environment, contributing to the testing area. As main activities, you will be in charge of: requirement definition, creating, automating, and implementing test cases, performing system integration and testing. Also, you will actively participate in planning and estimation, while benefitting from mentorship by recognized domain experts.

Responsibilities

• Specification of Test Cases on Requirements basis (including performance and boundary tests).
• Implementation of Test Cases for software-software and software-hardware integration tests.
• Ability to test case design, test automation and test execution.
• Preparation of test campaigns with functional tests and non-regression tests.
• Detailed description of reproduction scenario when finding bugs.
• Evaluation of the test output (coverage, traceability, progress).
• Test documentation and test environment maintainability.
• Project monitoring (ex: monitoring of non-conformities correction, test result reporting).
• Prepare the hardware and software configuration for testing activities.

Requirements

• At least 3 years in a similar role.
• Work experience with Java and Linux.
• Relevant experience with ISTQB.
• Good knowledge of computer networks and operating systems fundamentals.
• You are committed to the highest levels of quality.

• Intercultural communication, including the empathy to work in an international team.
• Solution oriented while being open to embrace new technologies.
• Good team-working skills.
• You are an innovative, solution-oriented professional with a passion for technology, dedicated to constantly developing your skills.

• Advanced English, both speaking and writing.
• Studies in Computer Science or a similar technical domain.
