Legal Counsel

WHAT YOU'LL DO

As Legal Counsel for Sales Market Greece and Sales Market Türkiye, you will be responsible for negotiating contracts with particular emphasis on lease agreements and other documents, supporting all departments of the company to jointly ensure compliance with all applicable law of the activities of the Management Board and proxies of the Company and other companies of the Capital Group in the sales market Greece and Türkiye.

You will:

• Develop and give opinions on draft agreements and other internal acts in the entire area of the company's operations in the region with particular emphasis on lease agreements for commercial real estate.
• Negotiate contracts and other legal documents with particular emphasis on lease agreements for commercial real estate.
• Represent the company in all types of proceedings and in non-litigious proceedings.
• Be the substantive support for all departments of the company.
• Take care of the compliance with applicable law of the activities of the Management Board and proxies of the Company and other companies of the Capital Group.
• Provide ongoing legal advice, including providing explanations on the interpretation and application of legal provisions.
• Cooperate with independent external law offices – located worldwide.
• Support the continuous improvement of standard form agreements and legal processes with particular emphasis on lease agreements for commercial real estate.
• Keep records of contracts, powers of attorney, orders and other internal regulations, including control of their validity period.
• Set and implement routines and the way of working for approval and execution of contracts and ensure the execution done in the correct way.
• Provide internal trainings in relevant legal areas and help keep the competence of our teams high.

WHO YOU'LL WORK WITH​

As Legal Counsel, you will be a key member of the Legal Team in the Region, working closely with all teams to ensure operational compliance. You will collaborate closed with lease managers, lease admin, construction, facility and other relevant stakeholders, including operations teams, and regional and market function, to continuously improve standard form agreements and legal processes, ensuring compliance with applicable laws, with a strong focus on lease agreements and regulatory alignment.

WHO YOU ARE​

We are looking for people with…​

• A law degree, Bar qualification or similar.
• At least 5 years of professional experience as a lawyer in a law firm or legal department of a company.
• Specific knowledge of contract law, commercial law, with particular emphasis on lease agreements for commercial real estate.
• At least 5 years of experience in drafting and negotiating commercial agreements with particular emphasis on lease agreements for commercial real estate.
• Very good command of English in speech and writing, including legal language.
• Proficiency in standard MS Office applications.
