General Information

As an EHS (Environment, Health, and Safety) Professional, your main responsability is to ensure that an organization complies with environmental regulations, promotes workplace health and safety, and minimizes risks to people and the environment.

Your Key Responsibilities

• Defines and monitors the ESH programs,local ESH objectives and targets;
• Develop and maintain local standards in the field of Environmental and waste management;
• Is responsible to asess compliance with occupational health and safety as well as environmental protection standards and regulations when new techniques /equipment are introduced and to advise on how such standards and regulations can be met;
• Prepares specific ESH instructions according to environmental protection&labor safety and health regulations related to workplace characteristics;
• Monitoring and updating Corrective and preventive action plan;
• Participating in internal and external audits regarding Environmental and OH&S management systems;
• Has to follow the fulfillment of the measures disposed by the authorities (environment &work inspectors) on the occasion of their visits;
• Is responsible to organize and perform regular trainings for local staff and external contractors regarding the environmental protection and occupational safety and health within location Timisoara and Sibiu;
• Increase awareness of local staff with respect to their ESH related duties;
• Prepares technical documentation necessary for the purpose of informing and educating employees on environmental regulations and SSM trainings (training materials, tests);
• Offers support in the fulfilment of requirements placed upon the company's safety organization;
• Offers support in identification of emergencies and establish emergency response plans;
• Offers support in accident investigation and establishing root cause analysis;
• Offers support in comunicating methods of raising employees awareness with the aim of sentising employees to prevention of accidents , work related illness, environmental damage and fire.

Your Qualifications

• Advanced knowledge and expertise in occupational health and safety, environmental protection, and compliance with ESH regulations;
• Familiarity with ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 standards for environmental and safety management systems;
• Proven track record in conducting safety inspections, managing waste systems, and planning safety-related investments;
• Strong skills in training and mentoring employees in health, safety, environmental protection, and fire prevention;
• Excellent organizational, planning, and continuous improvement capabilities;
• Ability to develop and implement emergency response plans and conduct accident investigations;
• High level of confidentiality and adherence to company regulations and information security protocols.
