Junior QA Engineer

Are you curious, detail-oriented, and ready to grow your career in technology? We're looking for a Junior QA Engineer to join our QA team in Bucharest. Whether you're just starting out or already have some QA experience, this role will give you hands-on experience working closely with developers and product teams, testing software, and learning the Agile/Scrum process.

What you'll do:

• Test software manually on both front-end (UI/UX) and back-end (API, database) components.
• Use tools like Postman or Swagger for API testing.
• Log defects in JIRA with clear steps, screenshots, and severity levels.
• Retest resolved issues and verify fixes.
• Join daily stand-ups, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
• Collaborate with developers and support teams to solve issues and suggest improvements.
• Take part in triage meetings and provide updates on testing progress.

Who we're looking for:

• Someone with great attention to detail.
• A team player with strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Proactive, spotting issues and suggesting improvements.
• Willing to learn new skills and take feedback on board.

Nice to have:

• Understanding of severity and priority levels.
• Familiarity with databases (SQL queries).
• Exposure to version control systems like Git.
• Experience writing and executing manual test cases.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams.
