The Mission

You will work in ING's Open Banking program. The Open Banking program helps ING to further stimulate innovation, improve customer eperiences and create new business models using API technology. It is a global platform that enables eternal parties to connect to an API in an easy, secure and scalable way. This platform serves all of ING's markets, business lines and countries and our key strategic goal is to enable new use cases, improve capabilities and user eperience of the Open Banking platform.

Your Day to Day

• Understand business requirements;
• Understand and work with ING standard frameworks, tools and processes;
• Analyse, code, test and deliver stories according to ING standards, Team agreements and working best practices;
  Programming new applications and making changes in e- isting applications, writing well designed, testable, efficient code in a Java and JavaScript environment;
• Keep technical and risk documentation up to date;
• Provide support for consumers;
• Share knowledge with the other colleagues;

What you'll bring to the team

E

• cellent team player in an international team, quality focused, service oriented, eager to learn;
• You are curious and understand the latest developments in the technical and financial services;
• You have a good understanding of banking in general or you are passionate about learning it. You are able to discuss with your stakeholders and product owner about features and stories and can translate these into software with real business value;
• You have strong problem solving and analytical thinking - ability to diagnose and resolve ambiguous problems;
• You have a good understanding of Software Architecture;
  You have e- perience in Continuous Delivery.

Tech stack/ knowledge:

• Mandatory:

• JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3;

• Web Components (e.g.: Lit);
• Testing frameworks (e.g.: Mocha, Karma, Junit);
  E- perience with build tools (Webpack, rollup, etc.);
  E- perience with continuous deployment and continuous integration;
• Java SE 11+;
• Spring Framework & Spring Boot;
• REST API, Swagger;
• Test automation.

Nice to have

E

• perience working in an Agile environment, using Agile methodologies and related tools (Jira, Confluence);
• Familiar with continuous integration & continuous delivery principles and tools (Git, Jenkins, Artifactory, Azure DevOps);
  Nice to have cloud e- perience (Kubernetes/Openshift);
• Familiar with the DevOps concept;
• Strong delivery track record;
  E- perience in building applications from scratch is a plus;
• OAuth2 is a plus.
• Foreign languages: Ecellent written and verbal communication skills in English
• Education: University degree in Computer Science, Cybernetics or equivalent through eperience (3 years +).
