It is an exciting time at Chain IQ and our team in BUKAREST are looking for a Manager in IT Technology Services.

Role Purpose
The primary purpose is to deliver value-add sourcing services to clients in a structured, professional and consistent manner.

Responsibilities
We are currently seeking a Manager to join the IT Technology Category. The IT Teamlead needs to be a dynamic, highly client-focused individual with proven experience within IT Category.

Main Responsibilities Will Include

  • Leadership & People Management

  • Ability to coach, mentor, and develop team members.

  • Strong interpersonal skills to foster collaboration and resolve conflicts.

  • Cultural sensitivity and value alignment for global teams.

  • Strategic Thinking

  • Align team objectives with organizational goals.

  • Drive category strategies and sourcing initiatives (for procurement/IT contexts)

  • Technical & Domain Expertise

  • Solid understanding of relevant technical areas (e.g., IT infrastructure, software development, or sourcing processes).

  • Ability to troubleshoot complex issues and guide technical decisions.

  • Communication Skills

  • Clear and effective communication with stakeholders and team members.

  • Ability to present updates, negotiate with vendors, and manage escalations.

  • Organizational & Planning Skills

  • Competence in project management, resource allocation, and workload balancing.

  • Familiarity with tools for tracking KPIs and progress.

  • Adaptability & Problem-Solving

  • Ability to handle dynamic environments and unexpected challenges.

  • Proactive in removing barriers and securing resources for the team.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor's or Master's in Business or IT, Engineering, Business, or related field.
  • Certifications: PMP, ITIL, or equivalent for project and service management.
  • Experience: Prior leadership experience in similar roles (IT, sourcing, or technical teams)
  • Positive energy and engagement ("can-do" attitude).
  • Reliability and ownership of results.
