BEA is a global leader in detection solutions for automatic doors. Our innovation capabilities and constant focus on customer needs have allowed us to become a strong player in the market. At BEA, we believe that understanding the market is essential to providing ever‑more efficient solutions. Although we have a global presence, we still know little about the African market. This is why we are opening a traineeship to deepen our understanding of this region and establish an effective commercial strategy.
Role Description
This traineeship aims to train you in the technical and commercial specificities of BEA, then enable you to map and analyze the African market, before developing initial autonomous commercial relationships in the region.
Responsibilities:
Phase A: Internal Training
You will follow a complete training program to gain an in‑depth understanding of BEA products as well as the automation systems in which they integrate at our customers' sites. You will accompany Sales Managers, technical sales representatives, and technical support teams in the field to observe commercial and technical practices in their respective geographic areas. This will allow you to understand how our solutions integrate into customer environments and acquire the skills needed to interact effectively with them.
Phase B: Mapping and analysis of the African market (specific country to be defined together)
After the training, you will carry out a complete market analysis of an African country, including:
The size and potential of the market
Identification of key players and their market shares
A study of local price levels and expectations
Evaluation of the compatibility of our products with the regions specific needs
A detailed competitive analysis
The most relevant distribution channels
Consumer behaviors and opportunities for local partnerships
Phase C: Commercial visits and relationship development
You will begin establishing initial commercial contacts by participating in business visits, first accompanied by an experienced Sales Manager, then independently, with the objective of managing your own customer portfolio by the end of the traineeship.
