We, at HN Services Romania, are expanding our team in Bucharest, and we are looking for new, experienced professionals ready to deliver high-quality solutions. The goal is to ensure that the Software Development services provided to the business are stable, resilient and performant.
Contribute to defining technical solutions:
- Promote the use of existing services to reduce costs and implementation timelines, by integrating APS requirements into the project backlog.
- Encourage reusable solutions in case a new solution needs to be developed.
- Anticipate issues related to compliance, adherence to architecture standards, and cybersecurity of the selected solutions.
- IT OPS may be assigned to the relevant tribes depending on needs.
Implement technical solutions:
- Collaborate with various APS stakeholders.
- Set up proper logging, monitoring, and alerting for solutions deployed in production, in coordination with the SRE.
- Ensure availability of production resources (environments, monitoring, performance) and infrastructure by facilitating the deployment of solutions.
- Acquire necessary application knowledge to identify blocking points (flows, security, networking, etc.) in order to raise alerts and propose action plans.
- Provision all necessary infrastructure components: platforms, flows, databases, middleware, certificates, and network access.
- Perform technical tests (e.g., performance, recovery) before any production deployment.
- Ensure that the required documentation is prepared before going live.
- Make sure that all activities are tracked and managed within the backlog.
- Establish ICPlans / DRP with application managers.
- Manage and track changes/problems related to the application scope.
Continuous Improvement:
- Take initiative and propose improvements to team processes.
- Promote and share best practices.
Cross-Functional Skills:
- Strong analytical skills to effectively resolve production incidents, both in Legacy and Cloud environments.
Expected Technical Skills:
- Knowledge and understanding of operating systems used in the information system (mainly RHEL, Windows), application servers (Apache/Tomcat, WebSphere Application Server, JBoss, etc.), and other technical components (CFT, MQ Series, Oracle, PostgreSQL, MicroFocus, F5, etc.)
- Familiarity with tools required for industrialization/automation tasks, both on the scheduling side (Autosys) and in application configuration and deployment (Jenkins, Git, Ansible Tower, etc.)
- Certified in the IBM Cloud ecosystem with at least a "Bronze" level certification.
- Knowledge in Java development is a plus, along with familiarity with a development framework.
- Expertise in deploying Windows software (e.g., SAS, BO, Qlik).
- Expertise in deploying applications to a Cloud solution.
- Experience in designing the architecture of a complete technical solution.
- Expertise in migrating applications to a new infrastructure.
- Expertise in migrating applications to a Cloud solution.
- Expertise in analyzing technical incidents: Java logs, connectivity issues with third parties (DB, middleware), firewall access issues.
- Expertise in performance issue analysis.
