The Mission

In your role as Product Owner you will support the Wholesale Banking Data Management Organizations in achieving a well governed data lake that ensures data availability, common understanding of business terms, data quality, traceable and controlled data in line with both local and global regulations.

Within the WB Data Management Tribe, the Product Owner (PO) will work in a cross-border and cross-functional team focused on supporting the delivery of KYC (Know Your Customer) regulatory initiatives across the Wholesale Banking Data Lake, supporting the defensive data strategy of the bank. The PO will be responsible for building out, prioritizing and deliver the business requirements for the data flows in an Agile way, while aligning different parties across the data delivery chain.

Your day to day

As a Product owner you will:

• Support the KYC process in ING WB
  Align with Business (domain e- perts) and IT in order to facilitate the creation of ETL flows that move data from the WB Data Lake towards our consumers
• Keep your hands-on activity within a squad and ensure business requirements are translated in the backlog by "user stories" (what is needed, for whom and why).
• Analyze and document business processes.
• Identify data to be sourced and structured into the Data Lake document requirements on data quality, data privacy, data security, and other relevant aspects of data.
• Take part in the testing phase.
• Support the data reconciliation process between various systems of records.
• Ensure the product backlog is visible, transparent, and clear.
• Facilitate backlog refinement and drive the planning sessions.
• Manage stakeholders by proactively communicating on timelines, impediments, and priorities.
• Translate features that span multiple systems into sliced user stories for the relevant backlogs.
• Prioritize operational urgencies in daily deliveries.

What you'll bring to the team

Eperience: min 2 years in in coordinating/managing IT deliveries

Tech stack/ knowledge: SQL

  Strong analytical skills and energy of translating comple- ity into a clear vision and structure
• Focus on delivery through collaboration, ability to bring people together to work towards the same purpose.
  Outstanding communication skills (ability to communicate clearly, effectively & consistently in different conte- ts and cultures).
  Strong relationship management eposure, with prior e- perience working collaboratively in a cross functional team.
• Resilience and grit in handling escalations of different stakeholders with conflicting priorities
  "MVP" driven, making continuous impact in a comple- environment.
• Self-starter with a good ability to work in a global team across various locations.

Foreign languages: English (Proficient)

Education: Bachelor's degree in economics, Computer Science, Information Technology
