Our company

Paradox Cat GmbH is a specialist software development partner in the area of real-time graphics from Munich, Germany. As a partner and supplier of various premium automotive manufacturers, we support graphical interface development for high-end in car cluster instruments and infotainment systems. In addition to this, PARADOX CAT GmbH has increasingly participated in Proof of Concept projects and feasibility studies in the Human Machine Interaction (HMI) spectrum. Here, we focus on the implementation of new emerging technologies and their usability and implementation in the car of the future.



3D Artist Freelancer (f/m/d) - Bucharest

You will:

  • Develop optimized 3D assets, textures, and materials for real-time rendering
  • Remesh 3D objects and create LODs efficiently - both manually and using specialized tools
  • Maintain structured, clean scenes with proper version control and naming conventions
  • Stage vehicles and objects with realistic lighting and environment maps
  • Collaborate closely with developers and designers to ensure seamless integration

You have:

  • Passion for shaping the future of premium automotive experiences
  • Degree in Media, Computer Science, or equivalent qualification
  • Experience in Automotive HMI, Game Development, or similar fields
  • Proficiency in 3D tools (Blender, Maya, 3ds Max) and 2D tools (Adobe Photoshop)
  • Knowledge of 3D engines/editors (Unity, Unreal, Qt 3D, Kanzi)
  • Independent, structured work style and excellent communication skills
  • Fluent in English, German is a plus

Nice to have:

  • Experience with Pixyz, InstaLOD, or similar optimization tools
  • Scripting experience (Lua, Python, JavaScript)
  • Familiarity with agile methodologies (Scrum)
