We're hiring: Accounting Professional – Market Value Balance Sheet

Are you an accounting professional with experience in implementation projects, looking to grow in an international, dynamic environment? Join a team supporting accounting closing processes and related finance activities for a major global insurance group, working on complex reporting, system integration, and process improvement projects.


What you'll do

As an
Accounting Professional
, you will:

Perform functional analysis to ensure platforms meet business needs.

Design and implement new IT accounting platforms, including mapping processes, structuring data flows, developing charts of accounts, hierarchies, validations, and reporting.

Ensure integration between multiple Head Office IT systems.

Conduct testing: unit tests, system integration, and user acceptance testing.

Create comprehensive documentation to support the new platforms.

Engage in PMO activities, facilitating project management and ensuring alignment across stakeholders and workstreams.

Gather business requirements, provide updates, and propose continuous improvements to platform functionality.


Who you are

Master's degree in Economics, Business Administration, Computer Engineering, or Management Engineering (with accounting focus).

3–5 years of experience in implementation projects.

Excellent knowledge of MS Office; proficiency in SAP applications (S4) and Microsoft DWH is a plus.

Experience with Tagetik and business intelligence applications.

Strong understanding of IFRS and/or Solvency II regulations.

Fluent in English with an international mindset.

Analytical, proactive, flexible, with strong problem-solving and team-building skills.


Nice to have

Knowledge of Italian

Experience in Big 4 accounting firms
