As an IFRS & Accounting Policies Expert in the Norms Team (part of Consolidation & Reporting within the Finance department), you will play a crucial role in ensuring that Ayvens remains fully compliant with international accounting standards while driving consistency and best practices across all reporting entities. You will monitor changes in IFRS, assess their impact, and lead the timely implementation of new requirements into our Accounting and Reporting Manual.

Your expertise will support the Finance function's ambition to standardise processes, strengthen reporting discipline, and contribute to Ayvens' transition towards the "P&L of the future."

Your responsibilities include:

• Proactively monitoring IFRS and other relevant accounting standards, assessing their impact, and advising on implementation.

• Leading or participating in the rollout of new accounting and reporting standards in systems, reports, and processes.

• Maintaining and updating the Ayvens Accounting and Reporting Manual, ensuring alignment with IFRS and clear communication to reporting entities.

• Providing expert advice to countries on the application of IFRS and the Ayvens accounting manual.

• Preparing and reviewing interim and annual consolidated financial statements, ensuring compliance with IFRS disclosure requirements.

• Drafting IFRS position papers, maintaining a log of IFRS Q&A, and liaising with internal and external auditors on technical accounting matters.

• Supporting interim reviews and year-end audits by external auditors, acting as a key contact point.

• Preparing annual and interim "dummy" financial statements and validating against IFRS disclosure checklists.

• Enforcing accounting discipline across reporting entities with tact and diplomacy, ensuring consistency and compliance.

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for a finance professional with deep IFRS expertise, capable of driving consistency and compliance across Ayvens' global footprint while acting as a trusted advisor to both internal and external stakeholders.

• Data-Driven Decision-Making – You apply analytical and technical expertise to assess the impact of accounting standards and guide decision-making.

• Continuous Learning & Innovation – You stay ahead of evolving IFRS developments, proactively improving reporting frameworks and driving consistency across the organisation.

Job requirements

• A Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration.

• 8–10 years of experience in accounting, controlling, or auditing, ideally with Big 4 experience.

• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or equivalent qualification is a strong plus.

• Solid knowledge and application of IFRS standards, preferably within the financial or leasing industry; experience with IFRS 9, 15, 16, and 17 is an advantage.

• Proven ability to manage complex financial matters in a dynamic, changing environment.

• Fluent in English (spoken and written); French is an advantage.

• Strong skills in communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management.
