Senior Accountant

We are currently looking for a
Senior Accountant for our location in Gruiu, Romania
.

Main responsibilities

• Develops and implements the general accounting system of the company
• Reports the economic results of the company
• Performs the activity of the accounting department
• Verifies salary rights according to timesheets, employment contracts, company policy and legislation in force and replaces the designated person from the Human Resources department on the payroll side
• Responsible for cashier and bank payment activities
• Ensures the preparation of supporting documents regarding accounting operations
• Keep track of the chronological and systematic recording of all costs in accounting.
• Collaborates with other departments to collect information necessary for preparing the annual budget.
• Monitors budget execution and proposes adjustments based on changes in financial activity.
• Performs periodic analyses of the company's financial performance.
• Performs comparative analyses between the planned budget and the financial results obtained.
• Prepares and presents monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports to senior management.
• Monitors expenses and ensures that they are within the approved budget.
• Proposes measures to reduce costs and increase financial efficiency.

Purpose

He / she has the role of organizing the accounting and control of the registration of the economic and financial operations of the company, in order to reflect as faithfully as possible the patrimony, the financial situation and the results obtained.

Education, Experience and Skills

• University - economic profile
• Proven track record in a similar position
• English – Advanced/Intermediate
• MS Office Package
• Good communication and organization skills
• Strong attitude for teamwork, interpersonal skills and problem-solving
• SAP knowledge
• Knowledge of Romanian legislation
