We are looking for a seasoned Senior Full Stack Developer to join our Platform Office and play a critical role within one of our cross-functional product squads. In this role, you will be a key driver of technical excellence, leveraging your extensive experience to architect, build, and deploy complex features for one of our core products. We need a developer who thrives on solving our most challenging problems, delivering high-quality, well-tested code that ensures our applications are scalable, secure, and performant.

Beyond your technical contributions, you will serve as a mentor and leader, elevating the entire team by guiding junior developers, leading code reviews, and championing best practices. Your ability to collaborate effectively with your squad, stakeholders, and partners is essential for turning business goals into successful product increments. Key Responsibilities

Development proficiency, complexity & independency

• You have solid experience and high proficiency in both front-end and back-end development, with extensive expertise in one of these areas.
• You can demonstrate proven depth of knowledge from several larger projects, having mastered several languages, and you possess the ability to quickly learn new technologies or frameworks as needed.
• You deliver high-quality, well-documented, and self-tested code at a high velocity, serving as an example for your peers. You proactively suggest actions to prevent bugs that impact our workflow or our end-users.
• You work independently on any task, including the most challenging and critical ones.
• You test and debug your own code rigorously, upholding the boy scout principle. You independently write unit, integration, and end-to-end tests and mentor team members in writing automated tests.
• You actively contribute to the automated testing strategy for all web and mobile applications in your product area, collaborating closely with senior testers to build a coherent strategy.
• You mentor junior developers in database design and optimization, understanding and applying principles of data security.
• You mentor junior developers in API design and optimization, and you implement and maintain API documentation with a focus on security.

Technical design & discovery

• You are actively involved in the technical discovery and planning, ensuring all solutions align with our architecture standards.
• You ensure that our web applications are scalable, secure, and performant.
• You identify and prioritize smaller optimizations and refactoring opportunities, writing clear non-functional work items.

Domain & product knowledge

• You possess detailed knowledge about the functionality across all applications and services within your product area.
• You ensure that every product increment you deliver meets our business goals and user needs.

Process

• You have an excellent understanding of Scrum and all its events, with a solid grasp of the underlying agile principles.
• You not only follow but also review, improve, and share coding standards and best practices. You ensure continuous improvement actions are followed and you encourage others to submit ideas.
• You lead code reviews and provide guidance to junior developers, always identifying potential improvements in code quality and test coverage.
• You actively contribute to achieving non-functional objectives and KPIs for your product area.
• You mentor junior developers, helping to grow the skills of those around you.
• You collaborate effectively with team members, stakeholders, and clients, standing out through your communication and your ability to build bridges within and outside the team.
