Global Lead Buyer for Plastics

Responsibilities:

  • RFQ and benchmark management (sourcing committee, supplier awarding, price negotiations, contract management);
  • Supplier selection, supplier management, supplier development, business reviews;
  • Proactively identifies and solves issues related to suppliers and allocated materials – escalation point for operational functions;
  • Continuous engagement with market in order to assure the supply chain continuity in case of allocation, strategic shortages;
  • Commodity lead buyer (only for the awarded categories) responsible for divisional procurement processes across 3 to 4 locations;
  • Data accuracy in internal system: SAP/ databases;
  • Proactively identifies continuous improvement opportunities within the procurement process;
  • KPIs implementation and monitoring: PPV, supplier spend, price increases, cost savings, cost reduction plan;

Requirements:

  • Bachelor degree;
  • Advanced English,
  • Advanced MS-Office;
  • Experience of at least 3 years in the automotive field or in similar fields;
  • Technical knowledge 3 years in the automotive field or in similar fields is a plus;
  • Experience in negotiating contracts for direct materials, investments, equipment or technical solutions;
  • Good synchronization with external suppliers in order to comply with the agreed terms;
  • Experience in cost analysis / offers from suppliers;
  • Advanced presentation skills;
  • Ability to manage change of priorities for several projects at the same time;
  • SAP knowledge is a plus;
