Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced SEO Director to lead our client SEO projects. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of SEO, in particular Local SEO, with a proven track record in increasing visibility and phone calls.
We're looking for someone to be a "player-coach": working on accounts but also managing a small team. This person should be excited to test new SEO techniques, especially related to AI search.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement Local SEO strategies.
- Oversee SEO team, check their work and provide training as necessary.
- Ensure proper execution of keyword research, metadata optimization, link building, and content management to improve search engine rankings.
- Utilize web analytics tools such as Google Analytics and Google Search Console to monitor performance metrics and optimize campaigns for better conversion rates.
- Collaborate with Client Success teams to ensure alignment on marketing goals and objectives.
- Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in digital marketing.
Requirements
- Proven experience in a leadership role within SEO working on Local SEO accounts.
- Strong knowledge of SEO tools.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data from various sources for informed decision-making.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to present ideas clearly and effectively to stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong attention to detail.
