About The Role
We are looking for a
Software QA Specialist
with
minimum 2 years of experience
in testing web applications, who enjoys ensuring product quality, catching bugs early, and advocating for a great user experience. This is a
hands-on role
with no team leadership responsibilities—perfect for someone who loves structured testing, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

Work Location (Sibiu, Romania)
Office presence required
3 times a week
We prefer candidates based in Sibiu or within reasonable commuting distance

Key Responsibilities

• Design, review, and execute manual test plans, test cases, and test scenarios.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, and UI/visual testing, all manually.
• Explore edge cases through exploratory and ad hoc manual testing to catch unexpected defects.
• Identify, record, and track bugs using common tools (like Jira) and communicate them clearly to the team.
• Collaborate closely with developers, designers, and product owners to resolve issues and clarify requirements.
• Re-test fixes and verify that bugs are resolved before production releases.
• Contribute to process improvements and promote best practices in manual quality assurance.

Required Skills & Expertise (Must-have)

• Solid understanding of functional testing workflows and methodologies
• Experience with UI/visual testing (layout, colors, fonts, spacing)
• Ability to write and maintain test plans, test cases, and detailed bug reports
• Familiarity with SDLC and STLC principles
• Experience using bug tracking/project management tools (e.g., Jira)
• Strong analytical mindset and excellent attention to detail
• Good communication and teamwork skills in Agile/Scrum environments
• Intermediate-level English (written and spoken)

Nice-to-Have (Plus)

• Experience with automated testing tools (e.g., Cypress, Selenium, Playwright)
• Experience with automated visual regression testing tools
• Basic programming knowledge (e.g., JavaScript, PHP, or similar)
• Basic experience testing APIs (e.g., using Postman)
