We are eager to meet iOS engineers who can realize innovative, robust, and creative solutions to complicated development challenges in an end-to-end product development environment.

Your role would be to develop and design iOS applications using Swift, iOS SDK, Xcode, and OOP, following best practices and using standard development tools.

We are currently looking for engineers to join us for the following project:

Garmin Connect Mobile is our best known, Fitness, Wellness and Outdoor power-house companion app catering to over 20 million active users and supporting an ever-growing number of compatible Garmin devices (around 150 at this point). The feature set is very rich and targets our complex user base with running, cycling, wellness, training, smartwatch, golfing, diving, and even pregnancy tracking feature.

We believe that collaboration leads to the best ideas, and we rely heavily on team interaction. As a hybrid role based in Cluj-Napoca, this position will require at least 3 days in the office each week.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and build advanced applications for iOS platform.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design and ship new features.
  • Unit-test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability and general reliability.
  • Work on bug fixing and improving application performance.
  • Continuously discover, evaluate and implement new technologies to maximize development.

Requirements

  • Good knowledge of Swift UI and UI Kit, Modern Concurrency, Modular app, working with SPM modules, MVVM and Router navigation
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in iOS development.
  • Demonstrated ability to learn quickly, enthusiasm, strong work ethic.
  • Process-oriented with deep attention to details and ability to work both independently and as a member of a small team for problem solving and solution development.
  • BSc in Computer Science, IT or similar.
  • Proficiency in English.

Would be a plus:

  • Experience with Bluetooth, Combine and knowledge of Agile methodologies.
