About the Role
We're looking for an experienced IBM Business Automation Workflow (BAW) Specialist with hands-on expertise in Case Management and workflow automation. The role involves designing, implementing, and migrating case management solutions within the IBM BAW 24.x environment, ensuring seamless business process automation and system optimization.
You'll play a key role in transitioning legacy IBM Case Manager (ICM) environments to the modern, unified BAW Case Management platform — including data migration, workflow recreation, and interface customization.
Key Responsibilities:
Case Management & Solution Design
- Develop, configure, and maintain Case Management solutions using IBM BAW 24.x integrated tools.
- Create and manage case types, case data structures, activities, and workflows within BAW.
- Define and manage roles, permissions, and case actions to support business processes.
- Customize user interfaces (UI) and dashboards for case workers and supervisors using Case Builder and UI Toolkit.
Migration from IBM Case Manager to BAW
- Lead or support the migration of legacy ICM solutions to IBM BAW 24.x.
- Migrate and map case types, data models, and workflows into the new BAW environment.
- Recreate and optimize workflows using BAW Process Designer.
- Use REST APIs and automation scripts for data migration and system integration.
Business Rules & Process Automation
- Configure and implement business rules using the BAW Rules Engine and Rule Designer.
- Automate task assignments, escalations, and approvals within case workflows.
- Monitor and optimize process performance based on data-driven insights.
Testing, Deployment & Support
- Conduct unit, integration, and end-to-end testing for all case management functionalities.
- Validate data integrity, workflows, permissions, and user roles before go-live.
- Provide post-deployment support and troubleshoot performance or integration issues.
- Collaborate with business and technical teams to ensure smooth adoption and transition.
