Laboratory Technician – CNC

Work Location
: SAIPEM Romania, Aricestii Rahtivani, Prahova County

This position is adressed to applicants already resident and with valid work permit in Romania at the time of application.

Tasks

• Operating CNC Machines: Setting up and using CNC machinery to prepare samples with precision, according to technical drawings and specifications. You'll ensure tools are correctly calibrated and maintenance procedures are followed.
• Conducting Material Testing : Preparing and Test metallic and/or No-metallic samples to reveal structural features. You'll be in charge of following standardized procedures for sample preparation and handling potentially hazardous chemicals safely and responsibly.
• Documenting and Reporting: Compiling detailed technical reports based on findings. This includes capturing high-quality images, recording process parameters, and highlighting any deviations or anomalies in the material structure.

We're Looking For Someone With

• High school diploma;
• Experience in CNC machining or technical sample preparation - advantage;
• Basic knowledge of metallurgy and chemical handling procedures;
• Attention to detail and ability to follow complex procedures precisely;
• Strong written communication skills in English for report generation.
