Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and optimize robust ETL/ELT workflows using Azure Data Factory to ingest, transform, and load data from various sources into Snowflake/Databricks.
  • Write and maintain DBT models for data transformation, cleansing, and quality assurance to support analytics and reporting use cases.
  • Manage and optimize Snowflake data structures, including schema design and output table formats, ensuring performance and scalability.
  • Monitor data workflows, identify and debug data issues, and implement fixes promptly to maintain reliable data delivery.
  • Collaborate closely with data analysts, engineers, and stakeholders to gather requirements, document solutions, and ensure smooth knowledge transfer.

Required Experience

  • Strong experience with AWS (Glue, S3, Athena)/ Azure.
  • Proficiency in SQL and scripting (e.g., Python).
  • Solid understanding of data modeling and performance optimization.
  • Experience in monitoring and debugging data pipelines.
  • Familiarity with version control (e.g., Git) and CI/CD workflows.
  • Proven ability to assess complex IT/digital challenges and develop structured, pragmatic solutions aligned with client objectives.
  • Strong communication skills, with clarity in both verbal and written formats, ensuring effective engagement across technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • A trusted advisor mindset, committed to building strong client relationships, adapting to change, and consistently delivering value in dynamic IT/digital environments.
