IT Technician

As part of the development of our IT department and the strengthening of internal technical support across Europe, Pragma-Tec is looking for an IT Technician / IT Specialist based in Bucharest (Romania).

You will be responsible for managing, supporting, and developing our IT infrastructure, as well as assisting teams located in several European countries.

This role is essential for ensuring operational continuity and the modernization of the group's information systems.

Your profile

• You have formal training in IT (CFC, Bachelor, Master or equivalent).
• You have 3–5 years of confirmed experience in a similar role.
• You have excellent internal customer orientation, strong autonomy, and solid analytical skills.
• You possess strong technical skills in system administration and IT support.
• You know how to manage priorities, work in a structured manner, and remain calm in emergency situations.
• You are open-minded, diplomatic, and a true team player.
• You have an advanced level of English (written and spoken).
• You have an operational level of French (a valuable asset, but not mandatory).
• You are based in Bucharest or willing to relocate.
• You are available for occasional travel within Europe.

Your responsibilities

• Provide IT support to users (Level 1 and 2): workstations, software, VPN, networks.
• Administer and maintain IT systems (Windows, Office 365, Active Directory).
• Manage and configure workstations and IT equipment (PCs, printers, phones, peripherals).
• Participate in IT asset management: inventory, licenses, updates.
• Update IT documentation, procedures, and access rights.
• Coordinate interventions with external providers (maintenance, security, equipment).
• Take part in development projects: Cloud migration, cybersecurity, network modernization, automation.
• Support technical and administrative teams with efficient IT solutions.
• Apply the group's IT security standards and best practices.

Technical skills

• Windows 10/11 & Windows Server
• Active Directory & Azure AD (Entra ID)
• Office 365 / M365 (Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, Intune)
• Network services: DNS, DHCP, VPN
• Virtualization (VMware, Hyper-V or equivalent)
• Backup tools (Veeam or similar)
• IT security: antivirus, MFA, BitLocker
• Basic networking knowledge: VLAN, switching, Wi-Fi

Assets (a plus)

• Linux knowledge
• Cybersecurity basics (Firewall, Zero Trust, SIEM)
• Automation / scripting (PowerShell, Python)
• Cloud knowledge (Azure, AWS)
• Certifications (Microsoft, Cisco, ITIL)
• Experience in an industrial environment
