About the Role

ReBound, part of the Reconomy Group, is scaling its
Cloud Engineering capability
—and we're looking for a talented
AWS Cloud Engineer
to strengthen our team in Bucharest.

This is a rare opportunity to work alongside senior cloud engineers, contribute to global-scale infrastructure, and shape how we deliver secure, reliable, and modern cloud solutions. If you're passionate about AWS, DevOps, and automation—and want your work to have a real impact—this role is for you.


What You'll Do

Design and implement cloud infrastructure as code using
Terraform
or
CloudFormation
.

Improve and maintain
CI/CD pipelines
to enable fast and secure deployments.

Support developers with environment setup, troubleshooting, and deployment best practices.

Participate in
incident response
and post-mortems to improve reliability.

Monitor and optimize
cloud costs and performance
.

Contribute to
infrastructure standards, documentation, and AWS learning sessions
.

Collaborate across teams to embed
DevOps culture
and improve the developer experience.


What You Bring

  • 3+ years hands-on experience with
    AWS (or Azure/GCP)
  • Strong knowledge of
    CI/CD pipelines and scripting
    (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Bitbucket Pipelines, etc.)
  • Solid understanding of
    networking, containerisation, monitoring, and observability tools
  • Familiarity with
    infrastructure security
    (IAM, secrets management, encryption)
  • Excellent English communication skills and a
    collaborative mindset

Nice to have:

  • Experience with
    Terraform or CloudFormation
  • Hands-on with AWS services like
    EC2, VPC, IAM, ECS/EKS, CloudWatch
  • Prior involvement in
    on-call support or incident response
  • Exposure to
    cost governance, backup, or disaster recovery planning
