Position Overview:

Our never ending thirst for improvement and effectiveness has led us to the acquisition of a new product back-ending in Java therefore are passionately working on building a completely new team, seeking capable Java Developers with strong technical foundations as well as leadership qualities to guide the technical team & collaborate closely with the rest of the integrated services.   

As part of our team you will be playing a key role in the design, development and maintenance of our high-performance backend systems. A collaborative can-do attitude and an engineering mentality are highly appreciated and will fit right into the rest of our organization.

Responsibilities within the team:

  • Collaborating with engineers and stakeholders to gather requirements, design, and implement new features

  • Design, develop and maintain robust, scalable Java applications that handle millions of daily transactions

  • Writing clean, efficient, and well-documented code, adhering to best practices and coding standards

  • Conduct code reviews, providing constructive feedback and mentoring developers

  • Staying up-to-date with the latest Java technologies and frameworks (Spring Boot, Hibernate, JPA preferred)


Facing the challenges of the role requires:

  • A proficient Java developer with a robust 5+ years of experience in back-end and web development

  • Expertise in object-oriented design and development principles

  • Good understanding of relational databases and SQL

  • Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs

  • Being an adept with Git for version control and collaboration

  • A good communicator interested in collaboration and teamwork

  • Passion about sharing knowledge, mentoring, and fostering a culture of continuous learning

  • A problem-solver with a proactive and results-oriented mindset, committed to delivering high-quality work
