The Role

In this project, we're building the most intuitive and powerful number-crunching tool ever created. Think spreadsheets, reimagined for modern teams. If you're a backend/data engineer who thrives on solving complex challenges and wants to shape the future of data tools, we'd love to meet you. You'll join a senior-level team tackling some of the most exciting engineering challenges in data tooling today. From scaling integrations that pull millions of transactions from third-party systems, to optimizing our high-performance calculation engine, your work will directly shape the experience of thousands of users making critical business decisions.

What you'll do

• Build and scale backend systems that power our spreadsheet-like interface and data integrations.
• Tackle performance and scalability challenges as we pull millions of transactions from third-party systems.
• Translate functional requirements into clean, maintainable, and high-performance code.
• Influence engineering processes and product direction.
• Collaborate with a passionate, distributed team to deliver features end-to-end—from concept to production.

What you bring to the table

• Solid amount of software engineering experience, ideally in fast-paced startup environments (Series A–C).
• Strong backend skills with TypeScript ), Postgres, and Redis.
• Ability to write clean, performant code and move fast when needed.
• Experience owning features end-to-end, including technical specs and post-launch support.
• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related quantitative field.
• Comfort with ambiguity and a proactive mindset to drive decisions and progress.
