About the Role:

We are seeking a
Senior Linux Technical Specialist (L3)
to join our Operations Tower Linux Team based in Bucharest. The team consists of highly skilled professionals managing medium to complex customer environments. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing Linux managed services, supporting critical business systems, and ensuring high availability and performance across multiple environments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide
    L3 support
    for BAU tasks including incidents, service requests, and changes while ensuring SLAs are met.
  • Deploy, configure, and manage
    Linux systems
    following best practices and security standards.
  • Deploy, configure, and maintain
    Kubernetes
    environments.
  • Manage and maintain
    Ansible
    automation frameworks.
  • Follow
    ITIL / Agile
    processes for Incident and Change Management.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance automation and deployment processes.
  • Participate in projects, design reviews, and service acceptance activities.
  • Prepare and maintain
    technical documentation
    and knowledge base materials.
  • Support internal and external projects and ensure solutions are operationally supportable.
  • Track and record working hours accurately in the timesheet system.
  • Attend onsite in Bucharest as required for customer collaboration or project needs.

Required Skills and Experience:

System Administration:

  • Expertise with
    RHEL
    ,
    SUSE
    ,
    Ubuntu
    , and
    Debian
    distributions.

Configuration Management / Automation:

  • Experience with
    Red Hat Satellite Server / Uyuni
    .
  • Strong scripting skills in
    Python
    ,
    Java
    , or
    Shell scripting
    .
  • Hands-on experience with
    Ansible
    and
    GitLab
    .

Containers and Web Servers:

  • Proficiency with
    Docker
    .
  • Experience with
    Apache
    and
    Nginx
    servers.

Nice to Have:

  • Database knowledge:
    Oracle
    ,
    MySQL
    , etc.
  • Experience with
    Kubernetes
    .

Additional Competencies:

  • Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent
    communication skills
    (written and verbal).
  • Familiarity with
    ITIL
    and
    Agile
    service management methodologies.
  • Experience using
    ServiceNow
    or similar ITSM tools.
  • Prior experience in an
    ICT Managed Services environment
    is highly desirable.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a
    multilingual, remote team
    environment.

Qualifications and Certifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • RHEL Certified Administrator
    or
    6+ years of hands-on experience
    as a Linux System Administrator.
