Your new role:

As a Senior QA Automation Engineer you will:

  • Take ownership of quality engineering initiatives and support team members through mentorship and guidance.
  • Apply software development lifecycle principles and methodologies such as Agile, Lean, XP, CI/CD, and secure coding practices.
  • Make informed technology decisions and assess their impact on product quality and delivery.
  • Provide expertise in test planning, strategy, and execution across functional and non-functional domains.
  • Design, develop, and maintain automation tests for acceptance, functional, regression, and non-functional scenarios.
  • Lead the adoption of best practices in test case development and maintenance (manual and automated).
  • Build and enhance automation frameworks that support robust, scalable, and resilient testing integrated into CI/CD pipelines.
  • Conduct non-functional testing including performance, scalability, concurrency, reliability, and compatibility.
  • Apply appropriate testing methodologies throughout the SDLC to ensure high-quality deliverables.
  • Manage defect and automation backlogs with clear resolution plans and measurable outcomes.
  • Collaborate across teams to understand dependencies and align testing efforts with business priorities.
  • Promote inclusive team culture and foster engagement through collaboration and knowledge sharing.

What you'll need to succeed:

  • Functional (backend, UI) and non-functional automation testing (performance, security, scalability).
  • Tools & frameworks: SoapUI, Jenkins, JMeter, Qtest, Angular, , TestCafe, NestJS, Postgres, JUnit, REST Assured, K6, GitHub Actions, Java.
  • Containerization and orchestration: Docker, Kubernetes.
  • Cloud-based testing, RESTful APIs, and microservices architecture.
  • Agile testing practices including shift-left, TDD, and BDD.
  • CI/CD pipeline experience, preferably with Azure DevOps.
