QA Automation Engineer

Pro iDeal Jobs is assisting a full-service software development firm focused on creating useful digital goods. They accomplish this by offering a comprehensive set of services that include consultation, business analysis, UI/UX design, web/mobile development, and quality assurance.

Our client requires a QA Automation Engineer with 5+ years of commercial experience.

Full-time Employee, Freelancer / Independent Contractor are possibilities that you can consider if you are interested in this opportunity.

As part of your daily business, you will:
  • Understand and test our mobile app in all details.
  • Introduce automation testing for the mobile app on both platforms (and maybe later for web applications as well)
  • Enter found bugs into a ticket system
  • Test on multiple devices and know their differences (different mobile phones, brands, OS, versions, different web browsers, different mobile browsers).
  • Targeted testing of new features and functions.
You shall bring:
  • 6+ years of QA Automation experience
  • Understand and test our mobile app in all details. Test on multiple devices and know their differences (different mobile phones, brands, OS, versions)
  • Experience automating the mobile app tests of common use cases in a multi-device setup
  • Enter found bugs into a ticket system. Experience with any ticketing solution (Jira etc.)
  • Targeted testing of new features and functions.
  • Experience with at least one testing tool (example: Appium), typographical and presentation errors
  • Experience setting up automated tests, defining user scenarios, and creating testing strategies in general
  • Experience with at least one testing tool (example: Appium)
Nice to have:
  • Experience with web testing (example: Cypress)
  • Excellent English in spoken and written form
  • Great team player and communicator in a diverse and international remote team
  • Experience in using Jira
  • Understanding of frontend technologies (HTML, CSS, Responsive design)
  • Cloud experience (Google Cloud preferred)
