Plant Controller

Job Purpose:

1. To be a financial partner to the Oradea plant management team and lead plant financial activities together with financial shared services.
2. Drive operational performance through robust financial analysis, resource allocation decision and analysis, capital requisition and management. Work cross-functionally to identify gaps and cost reduction opportunities. Support lean activities and identify areas of focus
3. Control, develop and support supply operations activities through reporting and financial analysis.
4. Provide cost accounting expertise for manufacturing operations. Serve as a liaison between engineering, procurement and manufacturing teams to ensure robust and accurate product costing. Support new product development and implementation.
5. To complete monthly/quarterly/annually close activities in Oradea
6. To complete Plant planning & forecast processes including detailed analysis and recommendations.
7. Develop and implement Internal Controls, and ensure compliance with corporate accounting policies and procedures.
8. Factory building and ramp up phase additional activities
9. Investment financing/cash flow forecasting, incentive reporting, system setups.
10. Local support to factory building and ramp up.

Principal Responsibilities:

Product Costing

• Coordinate the costing processes in Oradea factory and participate the global costing development projects
• Harmonize product cost calculation methods between factories
• Coordinate the data flows from Costing into Global Product and Customer profitability calculations

Month/Year closing activities

• Inventory control and journals in management accounting in GL (Raw materials, WIP, Finished goods) in Oradea
• Management accounting activities (material allocations etc.)
• Transfer pricing (raw materials, compounds)
• Fixed Assets
• Accrual Accounting

Reporting, performance analysis and planning/budgeting

• Production unit costs
• Investments
• Product costs
• Productivity, waste, inventories
• Logistic costs

Controls

• Develop and implement Internal Controls, and ensure compliance with corporate accounting policies and procedures
