Job description
In this position, you will be responsible for the operational purchasing of goods and services. You will carry out the administrative process, monitor progress, and identify any problems at an early stage. You will maintain contact with suppliers and provide input for supplier assessments. You will work in the Shared Service Center in Romania and this position will support the buyer activities for different plants of BMT Aerospace.
Key Responsibilities
- You create and send purchase orders.
- You create and send purchase requisitions.
- You create new suppliers in the ERP system.
- You follow up on purchase orders, check order confirmations, and adjust where necessary.
- You inform colleagues about deliveries and any possible delays.
- You ensure that all required data is entered into the ERP system.
- You ensure all master data related with procurement is kept up to date and correct.
- Based on the organization's needs, you send out requests for quotations and request information from suppliers.
- You manage the relationship with certain suppliers and monitor the agreed terms and conditions.
- You provide administrative support within the purchasing department.
Profile:
- You have at least a bachelor's degree or equivalent through experience.
- You have some technical affinity.
- You have a good knowledge of MS Office and ERP system, preferably SAP S/4Hana.
- You have a good knowledge of English.
- You are administratively accurate.
- You are proactive.
- You have good communication skills.
