What will you be doing as an Credit & Counterparty Risk Manager.

The core focus of this role is to provide independent and objective analysis, monitoring and management of Credit & Counterparty Risk Management for Bunge offices / businesses supported by Bucharest Hub.

This should be completed through the following activities:

Responsibilities:

• Managing the credit team of five members;
• Maintaining management tools and reports for countries under responsibility;
• Managing counterparty risk analysis in accordance with Bunge policies, including: KYC checks and minimum due diligence, assigning credit grades, limits and minimum payment terms and approves exposure limits within delegated authority, escalation of exceptions;
• Monitoring counterparty analysis renewal dates;
• Monitor reports for exceptions and follows up as appropriate;
• Improving accurate maintenance of counterparty information in SAP and Delta;
• Supporting on growing the culture of credit & counterparty risk with traders, local management and internal stakeholders.

What you can bring to the role:

• Preferably - 10 years of credit and counterparty risk management experience is preferable; 2+ years of experience in a management role;
• Fluent in English (both written and spoken); Spanish and Italian is a plus;
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in economics, finance or related discipline;
• Highly computer literate with a good working knowledge of Excel, MS Office suite, SAP;
• Strong communication skills with good customer / business orientation;
• Good leadership and management skills.
