Requirements

• Strong English, communication, and interpersonal skills to work effectively as part of the client's team.
• Minimum 4 years of recent backend experience with PHP.
• Experience with Docker.
• Familiarity with the Symfony framework.
• Familiarity with MySQL.
• Experience with PHP migration
• Experience with other migrations, demonstrating the ability to understand and rewrite existing code
• Experience migrating monolithic application into microservices
• Experience with cloud environments.
• Competencies: Agile Mindset, communicative/ good to have a technical discussion with, cooperative and curious about the team (members), adaptable, enthusiastic and naturally keen on projects/ products, team fit
• Principles: Scrum, agile Development, SOLID, code reviewing, pair programming

Job responsibilities

• Understand the existing code base.
• Rewrite code using recent technologies with good test coverage.
• Identify tactical and long-term improvements.
• Collaborate with team members and report progress on a daily basis.
• Maintain technical documentation.
