Switchboard Engineer

Position Summary:

We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Switchboard Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing execution documentation, ensuring project coordination across multiple disciplines, and overseeing the implementation of technical solutions in production.

Requirements:

· Vocational diploma in Electrical/Automation Engineering or a related field

· Experience in switchboard engineering or electrical system design, preferably in the maritime industry

· Strong knowledge of shipbuilding specifications, class rules, and industry standards

· Ability to document and report work according to standard requirements

· Proficient English language skills (both written and verbal)

Key Responsibilities:

· Prepare execution documentation, ensuring compliance with project deadlines and allocated working hours, in accordance with ship construction specifications, class rules, and internal quality standards

· Coordinate project design with other disciplines to resolve potential discrepancies

· Compile material lists for assigned projects

· Monitor and verify the implementation of technical solutions in production, making necessary modifications and improvements as required

· Conduct the Factory Acceptance Test (FAT) presentation to the class and the owner.
